The Cambridge-based brand transformation agency, Mobas, has been appointed by Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, to design and develop its new college website. The new website will showcase the college and serve as an informative hub for potential, current and former students.
Following a detailed agency review and pitch process, Mobas was selected as digital agency for this exciting and prestigious project based on their user centred approach to project planning and scoping. The website, which is now in development is set to launch in Spring 2019.
Jon Parsons, Head of Digital at Mobas, says: “We are delighted to have been appointed by Lucy Cavendish College. Our website development approach is different from that of many other agencies. We always place the audience at the centre of our scoping process, which ultimately makes for a more engaging website that has been developed to fit the college’s audiences and meet its objectives.”
Mobas’ comprehensive scoping process involves a series of meetings and workshops to engage its development team, project and account managers in getting its clients to identify and describe their key audiences, existing and new, their expectations, numbers, values key user stories and information requirements. Mobas likes to work together with clients and their real audiences in capturing key user stories.
Mobas has a wealth of experience operating in the educational sector, having worked for many years with the University of Cambridge and Cambridge University Press. Most recently Mobas has developed websites for Claire College, Downing College and Meet Cambridge, the University’s conference and event bureau.
