Rachel Hales, founder of Get Synergised, explains how she helps create mutually beneficial partnerships that drive positive change.
With more than 25 years of experience at the crossroads of community and business, Rachel creates purpose-driven solutions through Get Synergised’s business consultancy, and the With Purpose Network to drive profits, and facilitate partnerships between businesses and the charitable sector to build thriving communities.
As part of this, Rachel has been working with Mobas for some time to enable more local businesses to make more purpose-driven choices, within their marketing strategy and use of skills and resources.
Rachel: Recently, I had the privilege of spending time at one of our inspiring, in-person workshops we deliver with seven charitable organisations – all eager to forge partnerships with the business community. These are one of my favourite days, and this time we were kindly hosted again by Mobas in their Hub space, just outside Cambridge.
Together, we shared ideas, discussed strategies and explored ways to create mutually beneficial partnerships that bring value to both sides. I watched something beautiful unfold – a room buzzing with purposeful conversation and true connection.
Charity leaders and social enterprise champions came together, not just to network, but to explore how their collective power can help drive meaningful change through the power of partnerships with business.
This, right here, is what Get Synergised is all about.
For those who may not know us, Get Synergised was founded with one clear mission: to bridge the gap between businesses, charities, social enterprises and public sector entities to drive positive economic and social impact, creating a community where each can leverage their strengths for the common good.
The goal?
To make ‘business as a force for good’ not just a slogan, but a way of operating that leaves lasting impact in every community.
The businesses I have worked with since starting Get Synergised have one major thing in common. They are working tirelessly to enrich the communities in which they work and operate, improve lives and drive real impact – and they’re ready to add huge value to the business world as well.
When sectors collaborate, they can be a powerful catalyst for change, businesses and not-for-profits, leveraging their experience and expertise to benefit each other. It’s amazing to see happen.
Businesses have a unique role in helping to build resilience and help the communities that serve them to thrive, supporting sustainability and responsibility as a responsible way to do business.
I’m thrilled to see the next steps unfold from this recent training course, and others that we have hosted at Mobas, as our charitable partners reach out to businesses to help them drive their social goals and I can’t wait to witness the impact these ideas and partnerships will bring.
I love working with businesses such as Mobas, that not only use their space and resources for good, but they also bring their expertise to the With Purpose Network.
The With Purpose Network, is revolutionising the way businesses and registered non-profits connect, creating a safe, efficient and meaningful space for collaborations to take place, both online and in person for mutual benefit.
The network facilitates engaging networking, and skills sharing, allowing businesses to meet their Social Value, CSR and ESG goals, while non-profits gain essential support and investment.
A huge thank you goes out to the team at Mobas, especially Robin Bryant, Sarah Coates and Adam Tuckwell. Your commitment to the With Purpose Network and your ongoing support allows us to host powerful gatherings in a creative space that energises and inspires everyone present.
You not only are collaborating with Get Synergised, but are also an active With Purpose Network member, hosting and putting on a lovely lunch for us whenever we visit to deliver our purposeful training to charitable organisations.
These in-person days always fill my heart with optimism and gratitude. Here’s to the partnerships we’re building and the change we’re creating, together.
If you are a business that wants to do more in your community and build a strategy around this purpose-led approach – delivering an impact for you and your stakeholders – then drop me an email: rachel@getsynergised.com.
A thank-you again to Mobas for letting us use your beautiful creative space, enabling these teams to have a new space and place to think, plan and focus on their corporate partnerships strategy for 2025.
What an inspiring partnership we have created, my heart is full. Onto the next training session!
